Scratch Page

Welcome

We are the Swindon Scratch Choir - a community choir for Swindon.

Our repertoire is varied - from Beatles, Tamla Motown, mysterious Russian songs to African chants and Forties swing.   The only instruments we use are our voices, usually singing in three or four part harmony.

We generally meet once a fortnight under the leadership of our mentors Linda, Martin, Kate and Fiona.   We have no auditions or age restrictions and ability to read music is not necessary - we learn by repetition.   We meet purely to enjoying singing together.

If you would like to join us just come along to a meeting - dates are on the   Diary Page.   We meet on alternate Mondays at Lower Shaw Farm, West Swindon and Wednesdays at the G.W. Hotel in Swindon town centre.   Choose which day and venue suit you the best (not both!) and give us a try.   Directions to both venues can be found at   Find Us.

More detailed information about us can be found on the   FAQs   page.
