Swindon Scratch Choir is an all-inclusive community choir for Swindon. The emphasis is on singing lovely harmony songs for enjoyment – and we do occasional performances (not compulsory!).
No auditions
No ability or age restriction
No need to read music.
Songs are learned by repetition - singing in groups with the guidance of voice leaders, then joining the groups together to sing the whole song. You are likely to leave our sessions
smiling, with a song in your heart!
Our repertoire is varied. Expect to sing anything from pop, folk, a bit of gospel, Tamla, Swing, African, Russian etc.
The main choir meets on Monday nights and there is a more informal group that meets on Tuesday afternoons – see Diary page for dates and venues.
